The geopark information center building in Tanjung Dewa features the beach-based geological site at the tip of South Kalimantan, facing the South Kalimantan Sea. The geological heritage in the area is the existence of peridotite stone derived from uplifted ophiolite rocks. The building will be a center for public education, recreation, and the economic development support of the surrounding community. The building form reflects the rounded shape derived from the earth’s mantle that is identical to the peridotite form.
