Project Overview
The geopark information center building in Cempaka features the first and only historical diamond mining showcase in South Kalimantan. The diamond mining area is part of the Meratus Geopark derived from uplifted ophiolite rocks. The building will be a center for public education, recreation, and the economic development support of the surrounding community. The building form reflects the diamond shape that blends with the shield philosophy of South Kalimantan.
