Project Overview

Wetland in urban areas has a vital role as a guardian of habitat and ecosystem balance, city temperature, oxygen supply, city water absorption, and the water cycle. Cities in the world that have managed to maintain their wetlands are relatively able to balance the built environment and their natural environment, becoming cities that are in harmony with nature. Protecting nature does not mean hindering the development of urbanized cities and their economy but increasing economic value towards a green economy through preservation measures. Wetland central park in Batulicin urban area is expected to be an oasis for the city, become a generator of the city’s (green) economy, and become a counterbalance to uncontrolled urbanization.
